COMING IN JANUARY!
The New Year brings a new chapter for JourneyKids – as we take the vision of JourneyKids to a "whole nutha level". Here's a Quick Preview of what's coming:
For all of JourneyKids (Nursery to 6th Grade):
We are implementing a new structure from the ReThink Group called “Orange” – it provides large & small group curriculum, graphics, skits & video materials, tools for families & parents, and even an online Hangout room for kids to join. The structure is geared to grow key values and beliefs in our kids that they will need to make good choices as they enter teen years. (Check out: www.WhatIsOrange.org )
Our format will now be driven toward having the 9:30 hour focused on smaller group development, and the 11am hour focused on large group worship.
We are blessed to have PARENT CUECARDS starting in January, allowing parents to continue the lessons weekly that are discussed on Sundays.
Coming January - New Programming!!!
Starting Jan 8th, The 9:30 hour will be our Small Group Hour – for growing deeper understanding & training
Starting Jan 15th, The 11:00 hour will be a combined Worship Hour in the Staff Lounge – growing kids by getting them involved in worship
The new website will launch a “Family Center” area, providing Parent CueCards and GodTime devotions for families to use during the week
The New Year means New Events!!!
Club 123 – “Movie Day” at the Ministry Center on Jan 16th from 1-4pm
Flight 456 – “Game/Fun Night” at the Ministry Center on Jan 20th from 6-9pm
Flight 456/Project 4:12 Midweek Group will continue in January
