About The Youth Minister ::

Brian Clark is our youth minister. He grew up on a farm in Oklahoma and you can still hear an accent if you listen! You can find his hometown if you look for a small town of about 1500 people on the map on the northern tip of Texas, straddling the Oklahoma border. The town's name is Texhoma, fittingly so since half the town sits in Oklahoma and the other half in Texas.
After High School he enrolled at Missouri Southern State University to play college football. One year later, having transferred to Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX, he played a second year. After playing 2 years of college football God had lead him to enter the ministry and enroll at Ozark Christian College in Joplin, MO.
During his 3 1/2 year stay at OCC he met Scott McFarland, whom God had also called into ministry while he was living in Columbus, OH. Brian teamed up with Scott to plant a church in Tracy, CA.
Scott arrived on scene in August, 2003 and began networking around Tracy to begin a following and start holding services. Brian finished his schooling in December of that year and arrived in Tracy on December 30.
They would hold their official 1st service on February 8th, 2004. 100 people showed up and the Church was up and running.
Early in 2005, Brian met his future wife Logan Smith, a 1st grade teacher in Discovery Bay, CA. It wasn't long before he asked her on a date; April 1st. He took her to an elegant evening at McDonald's. They dated until September 27th, 2006- the day he asked her to marry him. She accepted and set a date of February 10th, 2007. Logan now teaches 1st grade students at Bethany Elementary School in Mountain House, CA. She still hates it when she gets mail labeled "Mr. Logan Clark"!

On September 3rd, 2010 they had their first daughter, Charlee.
