Ministry Opportunities

At Journey, we support a number ofministries to help disciple and grow our congregation. Please view the list below and feel free to contact any of our staff regarding these ministries.

JourneyKids: Early Childhood

Our Early Childhood department makes Sundays a blast for those in Nursery and    Preschool; giving them a First Look at God and introducing them to Jesus. It's    designed to help parents support basic lessons of faith at home (using the Family Center Parent Cues & Small talk cards), while being excited about coming       to   church. Check it out on a Sunday at 9:15 & 10:45am. Contact Holly Greene for more information.

Journey Students

Journey Student Ministry exists to make world changers out Middle School and High School students. Through worship, teaching, small groups and having tons of fun, Journey Students can expect to grow closer to Jesus and their peers. Come check us out on Sunday mornings or Wednesday evenings to see what it is all about.

Contact Tony Jacobs for more info.

Connections

Journey wouldn't exist without the great work of many people who serve on our Connections Team. Whether it's setting up & tearing down, hosting/ushering, serving at our Grand Central station, working on the support team, or helping with security. These folks help drive Journey forward each week and connect with each other in relationship. We enjoy their leadership and encourage many of our new attenders to start in one of these ministries to help them connect. For more information, contact Lisa Henson

Adults & Groups

At the core of our DNA as a church body is our Groups Ministries. We now carry groups starting from 4th grade through senior adult, with a variety of types and styles. In addition, we have affinity groups such as Men's Momentum, Women's MinistryAthletics, etc. See our Groups area or contact Dianna McFarland  to get involved.

Worship
/files/Images/Staff/HeadThais2.jpgWorship not only includes assembling and singing to God, but it is a lifestyle of devotion and honor to God that is expressed publicly and privately. Our worship team is a ministry of service to lead as examples of worship, and serve the body in growing their expression of worship through the elements of music, drama, creative arts, and visual expression. For information about participating on the worship team, please contact Thais Doyle

Missions
Our mission as part of the Kingdom is to reach all people, not just in Tracy, but in every outpost of the world. As a church, we tithe a tenth of our offerings toward missions, and have adopted six mission targets to fulfill Jesus' Acts 1:8 command. Check out our current missions and how to get involved in a missions team.

Tracy For Christ

Journey participates with a number of other churches as part of a para church organization called Tracy For Christ. This group works together to hold events and activities, such as the annual Tracy National Day of Prayer and the Love Tracy Days. The group meets for prayer weekly throughout the year, and works will local city leaders to support the community.
